Stella Montis Raid Guide

Stella Montis can be described as a mad labyrinth. Visually it reminds me of Control 2 and Destiny 2 maps. You can tell it was a well-designed map. It's a lot of fun to play. There are some key differences in this map that makes it stand out.

Map Orientation. This is likely the first time you'll have to re-orient your map because you got confused. You should check your map regularly.

Close Player spawns. You can spawn anywhere, and someone could be right behind in the corridor. It is not yet known whether this is intentional.

High Loot rewards: It appears that the chances of getting Rare or Epic loot are higher.

The Cloth Can Be Hard to Come By: During the raid, crafting healing items can be a challenge.

Although these changes may seem minor, they are fundamentally altering the way the game is played. Here it is more dangerous due to the high enemy encounter rates. Because it's so dark, it's very easy to miss the enemy.

Stella Montis Best Looting Spots

Stella Montis offers a ton of goodies. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by how much loot there is to carry to Speranza. Prioritizing loot is a good idea. This is best done alone, unless friends require similar loot. Remember that this area has a high level of PVP activity, even if you are playing solo. Here, don't spam "Don’t Shoot". You do not have to go the red or Yellow zones to find good loot. You can find better loot, yes, however, this isn't required. Loot the outside if PVP is a must. So, let's look at the best loot spots in Stella Montis.

Medical Research: Zone of highest PvP activities. From many different angles, people can attack you. It contains tons of Vita Sprays as well as rare materials and blue bandages. This is where you'll find epic loot.

Assembly Workshops: a safe and great area to loot. You'll find a lot Fireballs, Pops, and other hazards here. Yellow carts contain Epic items. In one cart, we once found 4 Epic Materials. The area near this spawn point is dangerous.

Lobby - Area for looting if you are looking for weapon parts or security rooms. One of the rare areas that allows for long-distance fighting. You'll need sniper rifles if this is where you want to loot. Shredders will be patrolling, so you should be extra vigilant. Their barrage of shots will make your shields, HP and other resources disappear in no time.

Stockroom and Cultural Archives - A warehouse full of Old World loot. The mixtape and books, as well as paintings, spawn in this area. If you're looking to farm things for sale, this is the place. It is a very narrow area with lots of cover. Fights here are fun.

Sandbox A & B – A place where you can farm mechanical components. Low player activity due to Shredders. Pops. and Fireballs. If you've played this game a lot, you will realize that ARCs usually pose a bigger threat. Go into the game well-prepared.

Open the area by using fuel cells. Many seed pods are empty. This is odd, given that it is a RED area. Other good loot, such as weapon crates, can also be found in this area. It's still not recommended to go in. It is unknown whether the low drop of seeds was done on purpose. You're wrong if you thought that this area would be good for farming seeds.

Stella Montis Extraction Points

Stella Montis offers a different type of extraction. It's a bit like the Blue Gate's extraction points but it is sideways. Metro Stations like those in Buried Cities are the most common way to extract. There are three Stella Montis Extraction Points:

Loading Bay: This metro station is very dangerous, because there's a Bastion always walking around the lower level. The funny thing is that it's quite safe to get out if your goal is to avoid other raiders. Most people don't dive into the Bastion. You can also hide in dark corners. You can only do this if your safety is assured. This requires a good deal of parkouring.

Lobby Metro Station is a locati0n that's very exposed, which makes it a bad place to start an extraction. Airshaft extraction is a good way to know exactly where your enemies are coming from. Here, it's the opposite. The elevator shaft is a wide open space. Enemies can come up from the sides, from above and from the upper level.

However, on this map we recommend taking the Raider Hatch Key. The best looting is close by the raider hatches. Stella Montis’ map features 3 raider hats.

Assembly Workshops: In bottom right corner. It's convenient since it is close to an excellent looting locati0n. You spawn at the western end, pass through the zone and then extract from the hatch. Profits are made with little danger.

Eastern Tunnel Hatch is a great locati0n to extract because not many people loot it. This area is used as a temporary transition to reach the Seed Vault. Keep an eye out for people sitting in corners. The area is very dark, so you'll need a flashlight to see.

Sandbox B Hatch - Located to the very South of the Location. The most secure raider hatch, due to its locati0n on the edge. The ARCs will not spawn in this area, so you are safe unless the enemy camps here.

When calculating how PVP heavy this map is, consider the hatchet extracts. This map makes it easy to collect Sensors and Advanced Electrical Components. This means that you can either make them in your workshop if it's been upgraded or you can create them in the raid, if the Survival skill has been invested.
