In Dune Awakening, if you want to move past basic builds on Arrakis, you will need Stravidium Fiber. This material is not found in the open world. Step 1: Find and Mine Stravidium Mass
Stravidium Mass only appears in the deep desert. These areas sit far from the starting zones. They are often open to PvP and have stronger enemies. You should go there with a group or at least one ally. Travel by vehicle when you can. The deposits look like large blue crystals and they take longer to break than normal ore nodes.

You must bring the right tools. Low-level picks and drills are too weak. Use Tier 3 or better mining tools to get good yield. The nodes deal slow progress if you try with weak gear, and you will waste time and fuel. Watch the sky and the sand. The deep desert has harsh weather and sandworm activity. Sandworms can wipe out a solo miner in seconds, so stay alert and keep a clear escape plan.

Step 2: Build a Medium Chemical Refinery and Prepare Inputs
You cannot make Stravidium Fiber without a Medium Chemical Refinery. If you have not unlocked this building, build it as soon as you can. The refinery will turn Stravidium Mass into fiber, but it needs two main inputs: the mined Stravidium Mass and water from your vaporators.

Move your mined mass back to base and load it into the refinery with the water. The refinery also needs power to work. Make sure your generators have fuel and your power grid can handle the load. If your base loses power while a batch is processing, you may lose time or have to restart the job. Keep fuel stocks on hand and set up a priority line so the refinery keeps running when power dips.

Step 3: From Fiber to High Tier Parts
Stravidium Fiber is the building block for Plastanium Ingots. Plastanium is used in many high-tier items and base parts. You will use Plastanium in vehicle chassis upgrades, high-durability base modules, and top-tier weapons. Once you can produce fiber steadily, you can push into larger builds and heavier equipment.

Plan your supply chain. You will need to keep mining runs regular, move mass to the refinery, and keep water and fuel available. If your team controls a secure route between the deep desert and your base, your production becomes reliable. If your supply line is unstable, expect slow progress and frequent shortages.

Many buy Dune Awakening Items need Plastanium or parts made from Plastanium. Stravidium Fiber is the first hard step toward those items. Without a steady source of fiber you will not be able to craft or upgrade many key systems. Make Stravidium a priority if you plan to fight over territory, build strong bases, or field advanced vehicles.

At base, set up a small buffer of Stravidium Mass and water so the refinery never sits idle. Try to automate vaporators for water collection and keep a fuel reserve for generators. Build storage close to the refinery to cut down on travel time.
